Plan in brief:
You’ll camp 3 nights in hammock in the area of the Reserva Natural Tucuchira learning survival techniques and you’ll stay one day in Tucuchira enjoying and knwoing the nature – Accommodation in hammock with mosquito net in the jungle and in bed with mosquito net in Tucuchira
Day 1 – Arrival and entrance in the jungle
- Reception at the airport or the place of arrival
- Transfer fluvial in public boat to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Information about the plan

- Entrance in the jungle
- The tour is accompanied by native guides who teach their skills and knowledge of survival in the jungle
- You learn how to find water in the jungle
- The native guides show you how to interpret the animal instinct in a respectful way with nature
- Within the tour, you have the opportunity to get to know sacred places, the salados, where the animals of the jungle come
- We camp in the middle of the jungle in hammock with mosquito net
- Dinner
- Nocturnal walking tour
Day 2 – In the middle of the jungle
- 07:00 a.m. Breakfast
- We continue with our tour in the jungle
- We’ll pick wild fruits with our native guides
- You’ll learn how to make a refuge of natural materials
- Lunch
- Within the tour, we’ll see high and low zones, that is, see the nature and it’s differences
- Moment of rest and bath in a creek
- Rest and bath in a river
- Traditional fishing
- We will look for a place to spend the night in hammock with mosquito net
- Dinner
- Night of stories, myths and legends of the native guides
Day 3 – In the middle of the jungle
- 07:00 a.m. Breakfast
- We continue with our tour to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- During our tour, our native guides explain the importance of plants for artisanal and medicinal use, such as the latex tree
- Lunch in the jungle
- You learn the abilities of a hunter to make traps
- We spent the night in a holy place
- Dinner
- Nocturnal walking tour
Day 4 – Return to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- 07:00 a.m. Breakfast in the jungle
- We’ll return to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Installation and rest in hammock in Tucuchira
- Lunch in Tucuchira
- Option 1: Visiting the native community of Santa Sofía
- Option 2: Watching sloths in typical canoe (seasonal: November to May)
- Option 3: Watching pink river dolphins in the Amazon river
- Dinner
- Accommodation in bed with mosquito net in the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
Day 5 – Departure to Leticia
- 06:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 06:30 a.m. Departure from the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- 08:00 a.m. Transfer fluvial in public boat to Leticia
END OF THE PLAN
The tour includes:
- Accommodation in hammock with mosquto net (3 nights) and accommodation in bed with mosquito net in Tucuchira (1 night) with breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Activities described in the tour
- Drinking water
- Personal guide (speaks Spanish)
- Loan of rubber boots (let us know your size)
- Loan of rain capes
- Pick up at the airport or hotel
- All fluvial transports in public boat (from and to Leticia, last boat leaves at 1:30 p.m., until 3:00 p.m. transport in private boat possible with different cost)
- Medical assistance insurance
The tour does NOT include:
- Translator (it’s possible to organise tours with translator in English)
- Tourism tax ($ 35.000 COP at the airport of Leticia)
- Personal shopping
- Airline tickets
- Activities and nutrition not described in the plan

- This plan is flexible and changes can be made in agreement between visitors and guides.

- To carry out the activities, the physiology of the visitor’s effort will be taken into account.
