You’ll hike from cabin to cabin exploring different places in the Amazonian rainforest!
Day 1 -Arrival and entrance in the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Reception at the airport or the place of arrival
- Transfer fluvial in public boat to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Arrival and installation at the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Information about the plan
- Lunch at Tucuchira or in Leticia (depending on the time of arrival)
- 04:00 p.m. Entrance in the jungle for a walking tour living the dawn in the rainforest and on the way back doing a nocturnal walking tour
- Dinner
- Watching the stars from a relaxing net (depending on weather)

Day 2 – Hiking to a native cabin in primary jungle
- 08:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 10:00 a.m. Hiking to a another cabin in the jungle with luggage to spend the night in the cabin
- Exploring the rainforest on the way
- Explications about the different plants of medicinal and artisanal use
- Arrival at the cabin
- Lunch
- Rest in hammock
- Activities around the cabin, for example getting to know different typical fruits
- Walking tour in primary jungle
- Dinner
- Nocturnal walking tour
- Spending the night at the cabin
Day 3 – Hiking to another cabin
- 08:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 10:00 a.m. We’ll continue our hiking tour to another native cabin
- Visiting a native agriculture on the way
- Lunch at the cabin
- Handcraft workshop: you’ll get to know the different processes to obtain natural materials and you’ll make your own handcraft
- Dinner
- Nocturnal walking tour/Nocturnal canoe tour (seasonal from December to May)
- Spending the night at the cabin.
Day 4 – Traditional fishing and watching the dolphins
- 08:00 a.m. Breakfast
- Return to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Rest in hammock or relaxing net
- Traditional fishing
- Taking a bath in a jungle river
- Lunch
- 02:30 p.m. Departure to the a Amazon river to watch the pink river dolphins
- Watching the river dolphins
- Sunset at the Amazon river (depending on the weather)
- Return to the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- Dinner
- Story night of the native guides
Day 3 – Departure from the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- 06:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 06:45 a.m. Departure from the Reserva Natural Tucuchira
- 08:00 a.m. Transfer fluvial in public boat to Leticia
END OF THE TOUR
The tour includes:
- Accommodation in bed with mosquito net in Tucuchira (2 nights) and in two different cabins (2 nights) with breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Activities described in the tour
- Drinking water
- Personal guide (speaks Spanish)
- Loan of rubber boots (let us know your size)
- Loan of rain capes
- Pick up at the airport or hotel
- All fluvial transports in public boat (from and to Leticia, last boat leaves at 1:30 p.m., until 3:00 p.m. transport in private boat possible with different cost)
- Medical assistance insurance
The tour does NOT include:
- Translator (it’s possible to organise tours with translator in English)
- Tourism tax ($ 35.000 COP at the airport of Leticia)
- Personal shopping
- Airline tickets
- Activities and nutrition not described in the plan
